On your way through the Sunshine Coast and looking for nifty spots along the drive. As your driving through Sechelt is a great stop that allows you to sit on Benches or scramble alongside the rocks to the perfect spot to enjoy the view. It also seems to be very pet friendly as there were multiple dogs there. Oh and of course free!
A clean and cozy tucked away little spot right very close to the Langdale ferry terminal. The room is a fair size and comes with a small kitchen stove, fridge and even Pet friendly which is a bonus. The motel also has a day spa and a hot tub if your looking to treat yourself. As far as price goes, it cost us $165 CDN for a Friday night in late June without a reservation and with an added Pet fee. So not too bad at all. Raiden approved!
Whether your a fan of furry friends or just want to check out a cool park this is a great place to be and a short walk from Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver and even shorter once the Spirit trail is completed. There can be many dogs in the giant dog park that will just come up to you. With picnic tables and sitting benches it is the perfect free place to check out the view of downtown Vancouver from the north shore.
If your in the mood to watch some local amateur hockey, indoor soccer or even figure skating then this is the perfect FREE spot to check it out. Bonus is the great food and alcoholic drinks available in the upstairs viewing area. With 6 hockey rinks , soccer and even public skating its not a bad way to check out local sports year round 
Looks can be deceiving. The Red Wagon serves up one of the best breakfasts in town and is usually quite busy so I would suggest going at least an hour ahead of time to make sure your not waiting too long.
Hint: Try the Jack Daniels syrup on those pancakes
Canada place is a great area to walk around when your in Vancouver. This is the site of the Olympic torches from 2010 and also has many attractive stores and shops close by.
One of their locations is in Waterfront station in downtown Vancouver. Rogue is a great place to treat yourself to one of the best burgers around. Rumor has it that the veggie burger is also pretty good.
Hint: Skip the salad and go for the fries!
