VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Futuro Homes were created by Matti Suuronen in 1968 as a concept for a portable ski chalet. Today, it is believed that there are less than 100 left in the world. This video features a Futuro Home turned into a young family’s home and business! After the birth of his son in 2019, Ronald was inspired to build a unique space-themed Airbnb in Joshua Tree, California, as a legacy and future business for his child. He began searching the internet for Futuro Homes. He shares his story of obtaining and building the Area 55 Futuro House, which is now one of the most popular and unique Airbnbs in the USA.
