The Dark Secrets of Stanley Park is a guided walking tour put on by Forbidden Vancouver which is a family-owned tour company.

As you’ll see in this video, the Forbidden Vancouver tour guide takes small groups through the trails and along the seawall at Vancouver’s world-famous Stanley Park. The tour includes stories of smallpox, crime, First Nations, morality police, nature and the history of Vancouver.

We joined the tour in mid-August of 2020 (which is when we took this video). We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it.

VanScience Social – A Day Of Science Tours in Vancouver



Mike from TopDaddies.com joins the Science World team for the VanScience Social on a tour of some of the most amazing science hubs in Vancouver to explore, learn and do some hands-on science experiments with local experts.

The day started with a wander around Science World galleries and some science storytelling, courtesy of Anecdotal Evidence. We then hopped on a trolley to TRIUMF to tour Canada’s biggest particle accelerator. After a thorough discussion about the origin of the universe, we reversed perspectives to look at the particles in our human bodies by participating in a DNA extraction experiment at UBC’s Michael Smith Labs. Finally, we finished off our night with a guided astronomy experience at the HR Macmillan Space Centre and even got to see the moon up close at the observatory’s telescope.

This song was an absolute nightmare to try and get to a decent enough level that I felt worth releasing. The lighting was extremely harsh throughout most of the concert, which is pretty much impossible for me to do too much about, and ultimately some of the stuff came out darker than I would have liked, mostly because I was trying to keep the quality as high as possible. There is always a trade-off between quality and how bright a dark scene will appear since on a fixed aperture, you have to either alter the shutter speed or the ISO. The real problem was the audio however, as the audio sounded decent in the original recording, but after I edited the video and re-encoded, for some reason I was getting pops and clicks in the audio. After a whole bunch of trial and error, I eventually had to try and cut and use the original audio with the new video, which took some time, but it should be good now at least.

What is considered F2P (Free-to-Play)?

There are a few levels of Free-to-Play that are considered:

▪️ True F2P: One who doesn’t spend any rubies on The Pipe and only uses Tour Gift characters.
▪️ F2P: One who uses rubies on The Pipe, but doesn’t spend any money on purchasing Rubies or Gold Pass with Real Money.
▪️ F2P-Friendly: One who uses Rubies on The Pipe, doesn’t spend money on purchasing Rubies, and purchases the subscription of the Gold Pass.

At any given time, a user can utilize the Free Gold Pass Trial towards the end of a tour, in order to get Gold Pass Rewards of both Tours, once per account.

When making my videos, I classify somewhere between F2P and F2P-Friendly. I don’t spend money on the app for rubies outright – never have never will. As far as the Gold Pass is concerned, I use free funds earned from Google Opinion Rewards ( to afford the $4.99 on a different device, due to the fact that there is an error on my device when trying to subscribe to it. I claim the Gold Pass rewards on the last day of the tour on that alternate device, so I don’t miss out on having the ability to show viewers how to use the Gold Pass exclusive Drivers/Karts/Gliders. Since Rubies are the only thing that isn’t transferable from device to device, my alternate account has all the Gold Pass Rubies that are piling up without being spent.
