Follow along as Angela and Natasha visit some of Vancouver’s best vintage and specialty shops, bringing you along on our fashion journey. In this video we stop and chat with Jamie, the owner of Bohemia Gallery on Main and 16th and show you our favourite find! Unfortunately we ran out of time and weren’t able to show you all the great pieces that this shop had to offer (we LOVED the down filled dressing gown!) so we encourage you to pay them a visit in person or follow them on Instagram @bohemiagallery. We also visited Kamuy Vintage in Gastown and found ourselves stepping into a pitch dark basement, using the flashlight on our cell phones to guide our way! We found out later that there had been a fire in the neighbourhood and the power was cut off along that particular grid. Apparently nothing stops us from shopping vintage and we found ourselves a couple of flight suits. Check them out on Instagram for great menswear @kamuyvintage. We spent some time on Commercial drive which is home to many great shops including one that’s on Instagram @the.only.vintage.shop where we loaded up a bag of treasures. They have a fantastic collection of #gunnesax prairie dresses which are well worth taking a look at! Unfortunately, when we visited Mintage, the music was playing loudly in the background and we aren’t able to share them according to YouTube rules. We’ll definitely be more mindful in the future.
