Vancouver Tours Video – Hummingbirds on my balcony; beaches in Stanley Park; and the annual dusting of snow on surrounding mountains. Although I moved here from the UK in the 1990s, I still gape at Vancouvers natural beauty. For me, its the backdrop that sets this metropolis apart. But Im a big-city boy at heart and Ive also been delighted to see Vancouver grow up since I arrived. From amazing (and great-value) dining to a thriving local art scene, Vancouver continues to move forward — and I dont just mean the brilliant craft-beer scene (although, personally, that really helps).
Dont tell Montreal or Toronto but Vancouver is the culinary capital of Canada. Loosen your belt and dive right into North Americas best Asian dining scene, from chatty Chinese restaurants to authentic izakayas (Japanese neighborhood pubs), or taste a rich smorgasbord of freshly caught seafood, including seasonal spot prawns and juicy wild salmon. The farm-to-table movement here has revitalized the notion of West Coast cuisine — anyone for succulent Fraser Valley duck and a side dish of foraged morels? And we havent even started on about the craft-beer scene that has led the nation in recent years.
Wonderful Vancouver Tours Video!
